The Patriot Act. Their decision to give up the hunt for Osama bin Laden. Millions, not yet billions of USA dollars used to finance what I believe is an endless war. A war on terrorism is an ideology.
Slushie
right-click and "save as"		 One evening at a Reggae Ruffins rehearsal in Terry Getz' basement, I fell into a rhythm using 2 basic chords. It had been a warm summer day and I was thinking of the silliness of some of the songs that David Lindley recorded with El Rayo-X. The phrase "I want my slushie" popped into my head to accompany the groove, and the rest just materialized, as many songs do. I love it when the magic is happening, and the songs just write themselves.
New Education
right-click and "save as"		 This song is one of the new tunes appearing on my new record. LK and I decided to release a mix of a full song as opposed to just a sample. I like the way the end of this song becomes a sing-a-long. Positive and hopeful.

right-click and "save as"		 Daughters of Cambodia is a faith-based non-government organization reaching out to victims of sex trafficking in Cambodia. " Daughter's vision is to empower clients with the internal capacity and the external resources to change their own lives."
A humble contribution towards the process of shedding light on this subject, in the hope of encouraging positive change.
